Whinge Step It Up posted: 04/12/07 Despite the fact that I still occasionally drive a [now positively mid-size] V8 SUV (bought in 1999, when gas was cheap, and I plan to drive it, sparingly, until it drives no more), I've been invited to play in support of Step It Up 2007, good guy Bill McKibben's nationwide effort to reduce carbon emissions by 80% by 2050. There are events going on across the country on April 14. I'll be at the one in Portland, ME. I'd like to remind you that I'm riding a bike more and more these days.
