A Review I'd Love to Write
posted: 9/07/02

So you've almost certainly seen the Amazon.com reviews of the Harry Potter Nimbus 2000 Broom, right?

Okay, I'll wait while you check it out. It's important that you read the reviews. All of them. They are from BizzaroWorld.

And here is the review I really want to write, but probably won't, but just might. I sent this around to a few folks over the last couple of days.

Subj: the review i really want to write...

forget the kids
i bought this toy for my daughter. originally, anyway. about a month ago my no-account ex-husband ran off with his secretary. so i've been a little lonely. the nimbus 2000 broom is my new best friend. i've worn out three of these things. not exactly durable, but they're far more reliable - and capable - than that so-and-so rat who used to live here. -buzzing in seattle
